God Loves You So Much

I would just like to share with you the love of God this week. Psalm 139:1-18 says it very well and illustrates just how intimately our Creator knows us and cares for us. Share this with someone you know needs to hear this today.....

"O Lord, you have examined me, and you know me. You alone know when I sit down and when I get up.

You read my thoughts from far away. You watch me when I travel and when I rest. You are familiar with all my ways.
Even before there is a single word on my tongue, you know all about it, Lord. You are all around me—in front of me and in back of me. You lay your hand on me. Such knowledge is beyond my grasp. It is so high I cannot reach it.Where can I go to get away from your Spirit? Where can I run to get away from you? If I go up to heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in hell, you are there. If I climb upward on the rays of the morning sun or land on the most distant shore of the sea where the sun sets, even there your hand would guide me and your right hand would hold on to me. If I say, “Let the darkness hide me and let the light around me turn into night,” Even the darkness is not too dark for you. Night is as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to you. You alone created my inner being. You knitted me together inside my mother.
I will give thanks to you because I have been so amazingly and miraculously made. Your works are miraculous, and my soul is fully aware of this. My bones were not hidden from you when I was being made in secret, when I was being skillfully woven in an underground workshop. Your eyes saw me when I was only a fetus. Every day of my life was recorded in your book before one of them had taken place.
How precious are your thoughts concerning me, O God. How vast in number they are! If I try to count them, there would be more of them than there are grains of sand. When I wake up, I am still with you."

To Receive Jesus as Lord and Savior:
(Sinner's Prayer) Dear God, I am a sinner. I need a savior. I need Jesus. I believe Jesus died for my sins and rose on the third day. I ask Jesus now to come into my heart and to become Lord over my life. Satan has no more power over me. I say with my mouth that Jesus is Lord. Father, help me to live for you, and thank you for saving me. John 3:16.

Healing 10-Conclusion-Is My Disease Covered?

For the last nine weeks, I have endeavored to share with you why it is God's will for you to be healed.
In conclusion, to be able to stand strong in your healing, you must first understand that as a Christian, you have been made righteous by the blood of Jesus, which means you are in right standing with Him. Secondly, if you understand you are righteous but you have unconfessed sin in your life, you are opening the door for the curse of sickness to come on you. If you will confess your sin to God, however, you can regain your boldness to stand against the sickness. No matter what you have done, if you ask for forgiveness, you will receive it! (We've all done some dumb stuff!!) Some other factors that can also affect  healing are proper nutrition and rest and walking in love.
So, Christ has redeemed (rescued, ransomed) us from the curse, and He would not have redeemed us if he wanted us to be sick. As outlined in several reliable translations of Deuteronomy 28, here is what we are redeemed from:

Cancer
Uncertainty or dread
Liver Disease
Panic attacks
Consumption (tuberculosis)
Lingering, prolonged illnesses
Pestilence
Extreme burning
(violent, fiery heat)
Cold and infections
The botch (boils burning sores, ulcers, abscesses)
Blindness
Wasting, infectious diseases
Inflammation
The Scab
(eczema, malignant scabs, festering sores)
Recurrent fevers
The Itch (scurvy,
 vitamin deficiencies)
Skin eruptions (allergies)
Confusion of heart
(fear, panic)
Hemorrhoids
Oppression
(disquieted minds)
Severe burning fevers
Swellings in the body, sores and piles
Tumors
Any extraordinary plagues
Mildew (jaundice)
Sorrowful heart (depression)
Madness
Plagues of your offspring (genetic ailments)
Flu & streptococcus
All the disease of Egypt that you are afraid of

And EVERYTHING ELSE that is not named in the book--it doesn't even have to have a name!
Healing is yours......it belongs to you! Decide today never to accept sickness in your body! Resist it with all that is in you! You are redeemed, and you are healed!

Healing 9 - What's in a Name?

Growing up, when we sometimes encountered conflict with one of our playmates we would say, "Sticks and stones can break my bones, but names will never hurt me." Remember that? Well, I later learned words spoken over us or about us can possibly be detrimental.
God's Word says so many good things about us--it produces life in us. We are made in His image and after His likeness, so the eternal names that describe His character and His nature describe who He is to us and what He has provided for us. For example, He is:
  • Jehovah Jireh - the Lord our provider - He sees ahead and meets our needs.
  • Jehovah Nissi - the Lord our banner (victory). We always win with Him.
  • Jehovah M'Kaddesh - the One who sanctifies us and makes us clean
  • Jehovah Shalom - the Lord our peace - His peace can rule in our hearts all the time.
  • Jehovah Shammah - the Lord who is present - His is always there when we need Him.
  • Jehovah Raah - the Lord our Shepherd - He will lead us in the paths we should go in.
  • Jehovah Sabaoth - the Lord of hosts - He will protect us, fight our battles and deliver us.
And this list is not exhaustive. So, if God is all these things to us, then He wouldn't leave off Jehovah Rapha, our healer. He is the One who makes us whole. He is the Almighty God that does not change!

Healing 8 - With Long Life He Will Satisfy

Many were saddened by the recent untimely death of recording artist, actress, producer and model Whitney Houston. She was clearly gifted by God.
Although the details surrounding her departure are still unfolding and we don't know all the whys, we must remember that we still serve a good and a gracious God who has promised us long life. One translation of Psalm 91:16 says He will reward us with long life and He will save us.
The apostle Paul had to decide whether or not he wanted to stay on earth or go to be with the Lord. It was a hard decision for him, because he knew what lay ahead. Although he said to be with Christ was far better, he decided to stay on earth until he had finished his course---the work God had ordained for him to complete. He had a choice, and so do we.
We are all gifted by God and were created to fulfill a specific purpose. So as front liners, let us be good soldiers and finish our tours of duty. Let us fight the good fight of faith. (It is a good fight, because we are on the winning side!)
Decide today to be like Moses was in his old age: His eyes were still strong, his body was strong and he still had a spring in his step! Or, how about Job? His flesh was like a young child’s---he returned to the days of his youth! What did Abraham do? He died in a good, old age, full of years, satisfied with life. And David, the man after God's own heart, died at a ripe, old age, having enjoyed long life, wealth, honor and respect.
Also, for those of us who choose to stay and fight, God has promised us crowns of righteousness---that's good news!
He has promised us long life...decide today not be denied. Be healed, and God bless you.
